Thoughts for 2018

As 2017 draws to a close we’ve been thinking about 2018, and what it holds for the data centre sector as a whole.
Recently Chris Wellfair Projects Director at Secure IT Environments was asked for his thoughts on the hot spots for the sector in 2018 by Datacentre Dynamics.
Chris identified three; the introduction of EU GDPR in May, the new Ecodesign directive starting on 1st January and the ISO 50001 which is being updated middle of 2018.
All three of these he thought would have a big impact on the plans for data centres and supporting infrastructures.
